Meet Our Team
Meet your new owner and veterinarian! Dr. Simon is proudly from Tonganoxie, KS. Veterinary medicine became an interest while spending summers on her family farm and working at Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic as a student. She pursued pre-veterinary medicine at Kansas State University after graduating from Tonganoxie High School. After graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, she was accepted to veterinary school at Kansas State University. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Since graduation, Dr. Simon has worked in clinics in the Topeka and Wichita areas. She joined Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in May 2019, taking over for Dr. Kyle LaRosh as he retires. Her husband, two young sons, a cat, and a dog keep her life busy and fulfilling. She is thrilled to be back home!
Dr. Servos is a 2021 graduate of Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Houston, TX, originally and completed her undergraduate education at The University of St. Thomas in Houston. She is our mixed animal veterinarian who sees everything, including dogs and cats, cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and some pocket pets. She has three cats, Loki and Sigurd (Siggy), and three tarantulas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being outside, and binge-watching any number of things.
Jessica is one of our veterinary technicians. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in February of 2014. She is originally from Iowa. She is known around the clinic as the dog whisperer when it comes to anxious and aggressive dogs! She loves spending time with her dogs Blue and Damon. When she isn’t here, she enjoys travelling and being outdoors. Camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing, are just a few things she loves to do!
Ashley is our veterinary assistant. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in April 2016. She enjoys working with all the animals and learning about the processes that go into caring for them. The veterinary field has always been her passion, so she is happy to care for each and every patient. When she isn’t working here, she is doing homework for her college classes, reading, or at home with her two dogs, Ruby and Duke, and two cats, Sassy and Pippin.
Sarah is one of our veterinary technicians and has worked at Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic since 2021. She likes working at Pleasant Valley because the people she works with teach her new things every day and make work fun. She is originally from McLouth, KS. She has five cats, 4 dogs, 5 horses, 1 cow, a lot of chickens, and saltwater fish. In her spare time, she loves riding her horses, camping, hunting, reading books, and doing artwork.
Kinley is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in April 2022. She enjoys working with all the animals and learning new ways to care for them and the processes that go into it all. When she was a kid, she always dreamed of owning her own clinic one day, now she is here! When she isn’t here working, she is either spending time with family and friends or trying to learn a new hobby!
Brittany is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in November of 2022.
Jesse is one of our Veterinary Assistants. He came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in July of 2023. He likes helping where he can – either with clients or with his fellow staff. He is originally from Bonner Springs. He joined the Army out of high school but has since left the Army. He and Brittany have a whole menagerie of animals – 5 cats, 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, a turtle, fish, and chickens. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games with his kids and rebuilding a motorcycle.
Paige is one of our veterinary assistants. She has been at Pleasant Valley since June of 2023. She loves the variety of interactions she has with different animals while working at PVVC. She is originally from Olathe. She has 3 cats, Geo, Zeppy, and Canolli, and goats and chickens. In her spare time, she likes playing with dogs and coloring.
Gracey is one of our veterinary assistants. She has been at Pleasant Valley since August of 2023. She likes seeing all the different cases, learning new skills, and meeting people at the clinic. She’s from Tonganoxie and has a small menagerie of animals – 2 dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, and a horse! In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time outside, painting, and watching movies.
Megan is one of our Customer Service Representatives. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in August of 2023.
Monica is one of our Customer Service Representatives. She came to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in August of 2024.
